1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to Parpy Facade Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”) and this website. We are based in Darwin and committed to handling personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) it sets out.

2. What we collect

We collect personal information you give us directly, through:

• The contact form — your name, email address and message.
• The Build Your Home tool — your name, email, phone number and the build brief details you enter (block size, layout preferences, inclusions and similar).
• Unlocking the full house design range — your name, email and phone number.
• Correspondence you send us directly by phone, email or in person.

We also use two cookies: one remembers that you've unlocked the design range so you aren't asked twice, and one remembers your light/dark display preference. Neither is used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or shared with any third party. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site at this time — if that changes, this policy will be updated first.

3. How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your enquiry, brief or design-unlock request.
• Provide the indicative pricing, design matches or information you asked for.
• Keep a record of enquiries so our team can follow up.
• Meet our own legal, accounting and business record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we do not disclose it to any recipient located outside Australia. If that ever changes, we'll name the countries involved and update this policy before it happens.

4. Direct marketing

We may email you about your specific enquiry or brief. We do not add you to a general marketing list without your consent, and any marketing email we do send will include a clear way to opt out, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We do not make unsolicited telemarketing calls.

5. Storage and security

Enquiry details are stored on our systems and are only accessible to authorised staff. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect that information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep enquiry records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and meet our business and legal record-keeping obligations, after which they are archived or securely deleted.

6. Access, correction and complaints

Under APPs 12 and 13 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period.

If you believe we have breached your privacy, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

7. Data breaches

If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to you, we will notify you and the OAIC in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act.

8. Children

This website and its enquiry forms are intended for adults making enquiries about house designs and building services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our business or the law changes. The current version will always be published on this page with its last-updated date.
